The court, located in the heart of Ghana’s major port city Tema, just had the playing surface repainted in with distinct green colour.
Nungua Warehouse Company Limited funded the project which is the second time in almost two years the court has been repainted.
In December 2016, the court was repainted by Tema West Member of Parliament Aspirant for National Democratic Congress, Ebi Bright.
Aside funding the court’s painting, the young politician had the court’s lighting system totally revamped and fitted with modern lights.
The latest repainting is linked with “Providing a better platform for the Tema League to attract a lot of potential sponsors and audience” per Nungua Warehouse Chief Operating Officer Wendell Otoo.
The company has been directly involved in the league by bankrolling 2016 league Champions Nungua Coldstore.
This is the third season of the league but no headline sponsor has been signed to the league yet.
