Reformers beat Fire (yellow)
Reformers of Prisons missed three key players in its 64-66 loss to Tema Youth in last night’s Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I game.

Guards Raymond Abagi and Andrews Ayienab and Forward Mohammed Yakubu did not play in the game; Reformers sixth of the 2018 campaign.

Basketballghana.com gathers Ayienab missed the game due to an injury while Abagi did not play due to an illness.

Abagi and Ayienab played vital roles in Prisons 69-66 win over Ghana Fire Service before taking on Tema.

The trio’s absence was felt by Reformers who had a bad start (7-29 in the first quarter) but rallied in the final quarter to almost force overtime.

Applying a full court press was Prisons best way to thwart Tema’s myriad of shooters and make up for the absence of their key men.

Shooting Guard Amos Ollenu tied the game’s score at 64 with less than 30 seconds left on the clock but Youth score two more to clinch the win.
