Braves take on Dunks in first round closure

Police (white) v Dunks
Defending Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division Champions Braves of Customs will be in action in the final game of the 2018 season first round.

Braves play Dunks Club on Wednesday June 13 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu to conclude the first phase of the campaign.

However, the teams head to the game in contrasting form as Braves lost 46-49 to strong rival Ghana Police Service in the penultimate round.

That loss was Braves first of the season after winning three straight games; it was the team’s first loss since returning to Ghana from participating in an international competition in Kenya.

Losing to Police means even a win will not be enough for Braves to catch up to Police’s first position in the standings.

Dunks on the other hand, head to the game in a winning mode after claiming its maiden win of the season with a win over Tudu Galaxy.

Dunks is in last place in the standings with just a win in four games.
