The 2018 Tema Community Basketball League postseason is drawing near with a series of exciting games in the regular season in its wake.
A couple of rounds remain before the playoffs begin in early September to determine the team that wins the third edition of the fast rising league.
Despite falling to a shock 33-34 loss to Francophone Stars in the last round played over the past weekend at the Tema Community 4 Court.
The loss is Coldstore’s first of the season after winning 14 straight games in previous appearances; the 2016 league Champions are prone to such shock losses demonstrated in last season’s defeat to Junior Reformers.
However, Coldstore still holds the best record in the tournament with 14 win in 15 games; reigning champions Tema Community 4 hold the second best record with 10 wins in 16 games.
Two time Finalist Ashaiman Lions are third with 10 wins and five losses in 15 games; Lions lost 34-42 to Teshie Rangers this past weekend. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
