Former League Champions Nungua Coldstore, Reigning League Champions Tema Community 4 and two time league finalist Ashaiman Lions lost respective games.
Coldstore lost 33-34 to league debutant Francophone Stars for its first defeat in the 2018 season. Despite the loss, Coldstore leads the league with 14 wins in 15 games.
Community 4 got stunned 50-40 by Team Heat who placed third at the end of the 2017 season; C4 still ranks second while Heat stays in fourth place.
Ashaiman Lions missed out on a roaring win as Teshie Rangers clinched a 42-34 win to improve its chances of making the playoffs.
Lions are all but through to the postseason in third place with a record of 10 wins and five losses as it attempts to score a long awaited league title.
The 2018 playoff games are set to commence early next month at the Tema Community 4 Court.
