Braves of Customs earned the biggest win of the CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament two days into the competition at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

CAP 7 is being played in honour of former Accra Basketball League (ABL) Chairman Benjamin Baafi who also managed Braves before his demise a year ago.

Braves thrashed Reformers of Prisons 49-19 in the second game of the Women’s Division in the nine day competition which tipped off on Friday September 14 and due to end on Saturday, September 22.

Customs biggest rival Ghana Police Service recorded a similar victory in the division’s opening game with a 63-35 win over Ghana Fire Service.

Police will be in action tonight at the same venue against Tudu Galaxy at 15:00 GMT while Braves play Dunk Knights at 16:00 GMT on Monday.

Adenta Leopards, Tesano Icons and Teshie Rangers won respective games in the Men’s Division on Day Two against CYO, Novas and Tudu Galaxy.

Baafi was nicknamed “Capito” and wore the 7 jersey in his playing days.
