Rangers v C4 (yellow)
Teshie Rangers in action at Tudu.

Teshie Rangers was the most busy Ghanaian basketball club this past weekend as the side featured in two competitions simultaneously.

Rangers played in the CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu against Navy Warriors. Teshie lost 30-32.

The side’s loss came right about the same time its contingent in the Tema Community Basketball League lost 23-78 to Tema Community 4.

To be able to compete in both competitions due to an unwanted clash of fixtures, Rangers roster was split into a sect for each event.

That left the team undermanned in the duo of events and straight away the reason behind both losses. However, the side was given credit for showing up and competing.

Rangers will be in action on Thursday, September 20 at Tudu against Tema Youth in a must win game for the former. A win for Tema gives them two wins in three games.

CAP 7 Tournament ends on Saturday and has been organized to honour departed ABL Chair Benjamin Baafi.
