Francophone Stars and Teshie Rangers will be in action in the first round of the 2018 Tema Community Basketball League on Sunday October 14 at Tema Community 4’s Court.

The two teams have progressed to the postseason in their first season featuring in the league as Stars clinched the fourth seed and Rangers clinched the eighth seed.

Francophone takes on defending champions Tema Community 4 while Rangers face former league winners Nungua Coldstore who clinched the first seed.

Despite faltering for much of the season, Community 4 looked dangerous when fully engaged and have the experience of a deep playoff run to bolster its chances.

Francophone shared a ten win, eight loss record with Community 4 but a better goal difference put Francophone ahead of the 2017 winners.
