Rangers topped Heat (white) in Game One.
Teshie Clubs competing in the 2018 Tema Community Basketball League playoffs have been knocked out of the first round of the competition.

Teshie Vikings and Teshie Rangers missed out on qualifying to the semifinal stage of the playoffs this past weekend losing games at the Tema Community 4 Court.

Vikings lost 36-48 to Francophone Stars as Rangers lost 54-57 to Tema Heat in a close game in the final game of their respective series.

After losing in Game 2, the duo had to avoid defeat in the third game to progress but failed to do so leading to their exit.

Despite starting the playoffs on a wonderful note with Vikings clinching a 36-33 win over Francophone and Rangers stunning Heat with a 46-36 win in Game One, neither capitalized on the momentum for a second win.

Tema Heat, Francophone Stars, Tema Community 2 and Nungua Coldstore will play in the semifinals with Heat taking on Francophone and Coldstore playing C2.
