Ghana Combo Forward Ben Bentil was in action for Peristeri GS in the Greek Basketball League over the weekend for its fifth straight win.

Peristeri clinched an 89-81 win over Ifaistos Limnou at home with Bentil scoring ten points in the victory for the side he joined in September.

The win keeps Peristeri in the top three spots of the 14 team league and maintains the team’s unbeaten run in the 2018-2019 season which stands at five.

Former Boston Celtics draftee Bentil hit the double digit mark in 21 minutes off the bench and added five rebounds to his production.

The 6 foot 8 inch player four of six attempts from the field and converted both free throw attempts but missed his only try from three point range in the contest.

Persiteri plays seventh ranked Aris in the next round on Saturday, November 17 with Aris coming off a 72-61 win over Kolossos.

Bentil is the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA and has had stints in China, France and Spain.
