Basketballghana.com gathers Game One of the 2018 Tema Community Basketball League Final Series will not take place this weekend.

The opening game was scheduled to tip off at 17:30 GMT at the Tema Community 4 Court on Sunday, November 17 between Nungua Coldstore and Tema Heat.

However, word coming in indicates the series will commence a week later on Sunday, November 25 at the same venue due to issues that need immediate attention.

The official communication from Prince Owusu, a league representative stated:

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have decided to postpone the finals to next week and the weeks after”.

This is the first meeting between Coldstore and Heat in the Finals of the league after the two side faced off in last season’s bronze medal game.

Coldstore lost 50-53 in that game but the 2016 League Champions have been in devastating form losing just a game in 22 appearances.

Tema Heat is largely considered the underdogs heading to its maiden finals appearance.
