Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is fitting in nicely at new club Peristeri GS in the Greece A1 Basketball League the newly promoted side leads.
Peristeri GS leads the 14 team division with a perfect seven wins in seven games record following the conclusion of Week 7 games.
The Athens based side clinched an 87-78 win over seventh ranked Lavrio in the past round where Bentil scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds in the win.
Bentil is averaging 10.4 points and 5. 3 rebounds per game in his first season in Greece after playing in France and Spain last season. The Sekondi native is the first Ghana-born player to play in the NBA.
Peristeri leads Greek giants Panathinaikos and Olympiakos in the league with Persiteri and Olympiakos having played more games than Panathinaikos.
Olympiakos-coached by former Cleveland Cavaliers head trainer David Blatt-has six wins in seven games while bitter rival Panathinaikos has six wins in six games.
Peristeri takes on Panathinaikos in a battle for top spot in the league on Saturday, December 8.
