Panthers (black) v Novas
Panthers will not compete in Week 8 games of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II this weekend at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The veteran side was scheduled to play Teshie Rangers in the final game of the round on Saturday, December 8 but the tie will not come on as planned.

This is due to Rangers withdrawal from the 2018 campaign after Week 3 for varied reasons chief among them finances and a lack of player commitment.

As a result, all teams scheduled to go up against Rangers after the withdrawal receives a bye week while earning 20 points and a win.

Panthers rank second in the league standings with 12 points from winning five of seven games but lost in the previous Week.

League leaders CYO beat Panthers 70-63 to extend its winning streak to seven games and open a two point lead over Panthers.

Panthers other loss was a shock 59-60 loss to Dunk Knights in Week One.
