Ghana Center Amida Brimah came off the bench and dropped a game leading seven blocks in Austin Spurs 108-102 win over Salt Lake City.

Brimah scored six rebounds, gathered nine rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes for Spurs ninth win of the season.

The former University of Connecticut Captain scored three of six attempts from the field, attempted no three point shot and missed all three free throws.

Spurs Guard Nick Johnson led all players in scoring with 29 points on five three point shots and nine assists in the win and was one of four Spurs starters to score in double figures.

Brimah’s latest output puts him second in the league in blocks with 3.5 rejections per game. He trails Raptors 905 Forward Chris Boucher who has 4.4 blocked shots for the season.

Amida led the NBA Gatorade League in blocked shots last season helping Austin win the title ahead of Raptors via a sweep in the finals.

Spurs play on Thursday December against State rival Texas Legends.
