OWASS (blue) v KSTS

St. John’s (yellow) v KetaBusco

Adisco (white) v POJOSS

Prempeh (white) v WASS
The quarterfinal games of the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship have been confirmed following the conclusion of preliminary games in the Boys Division earlier today at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.

12 schools competed at the first stage of Ghana’s biggest high school basketball tournament’s 13th edition but eight schools have successfully sailed through.

Defending Champions PRESEC-Osu takes on Group B winners Prempeh College while Group A winners Sekondi College (SEKCO) play West Africa Senior High School (WASS).

Mfantsipim School is up against rival Adisadel College in all Cape Coast matchup while Opoku Ware School plays St. John’s School.

The pairings have interesting themes headlined by the Mfantsipim-Adisadel clash which has the rivals face off again a few weeks after Mfantsipim beat Adisadel to clinch the Central Regional title.

Debutant SEKCO beat immense odds to top Group A ahead of 2018 Champions PRESEC-Osu and the school’s Cinderella run could continue should the side score a win over fellow surprise side WASS.

Despite a wobbly start, Prempeh College fought gallantly to beat WASS in a crucial game and has momentum going into the matchup against an uninspiring PRESEC-Osu side.
