Speaking to, Coach Adjei-Fodjour was full of praise for his team after losing eight players from last year’s winning group.

“We lost eight players from last year’s team…they left to university so this was more like a rebuilding process but these guys have a certain desire to win and I think that was what pushed us” he said.

GCHIS beat SOS Herman Gmeiner 14-10 in the semifinal to move to the final game. GCHIS Female side placed third in the Girls Basketball Competition.
