Ghana Center Amida Brimah inactive in Austin Spurs game against Long Island Nets in the NBA Gatorade League. Spurs lost 116-131.

This is the second straight for Austin who dropped 116-132 to Stockton Kings earlier this week and adds to another low point in the defending champions season.

With Brimah out, Spurs got out rebounded 40-52 by Nets and had three players score above 20 points. John Holland scored 20, Lonnie Walker scored 21 and Travis Trice scored 25.

After their exertions earlier this morning, Spurs get a lengthy break before taking on Delaware Blue Coats on Tuesday, February 6.

Amida played against Kings in the previous loss where he had eight points, three rebounds and five blocks in 17 minutes off the bench.

The former University of Connecticut Captain is second in the league in blocks after leading the league in the same category last year.

The 6 foot 10 inch defender is averaging 8.2 points, eight rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game this season.
