Sunyani Technical University (STU) Basketball Coach Andrew Quansah tips Accra Technical University (ATU) to reach the finals of the GHATUSA Games Basketball event.

The 2019 Ghana Technical Universities / Polytechnics Sports Associations (GHATUSA) Games opened on Friday, February 1 and is expected to end on Sunday, February 10 at ATU.

Ahead of the commencement of the basketball event, Coach Quansah tipped the host and defending champions in the Men’s and Women’s Divisions to reach another final game.

He made this statement in an interview on basketball television show “Courtside” which airs on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports.

Joined by STU’s Sports Department Head Samuel Annor on set and after assessing his team’s chances against Tamale Technical University in STU’s opening game on Monday, Quansah stated:

“Obviously ATU will be in the finals” but commended the rise in competition in the educational sect saying “The technical Universities/ Polytechnics are really coming up and it will be an exciting tournament”.

STU plays Tamale on February 5 at 9:30 GMT.
