Sunyani Technical University (STU) Basketball Coach Andrew Quansah has expressed concern about his team‘s opponent in its opening game in the GHATUSA Games Basketball event.

STU plays Tamale Technical University on Monday, February 5 at the Accra Technical University main court in its first game of the 2019 event.

Quansah made this known in an interview on premier basketball show “Courtside” which aired on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports ahead of the game.

“I know those guys (Tamale Technical) they are very physical they play very physical and we are taking it-every game- one step at a time in this tournament” he said.

Quansah was joined on set with STU’s Head of Sports Samuel Annor who was brash about his team’s chances against Tamale.

The Veteran sports Educationist stated,“ we are going to walk over them”. Host and defending champion ATU is involved in the first game on a day before against Bolgatanga Polytechnic.

ATU’s Female Basketball Team opens the Women’s Division with a matchup against Koforidua Technial University.
