Responding to matters regarding a potential trade of Los Angeles star Forward LeBron James, Tudu Magic Point Guard Ibrahim Mohammed has stated the Lakers must avoid making such a move despite being all but certain to miss the playoffs this season.

He made the statement on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports captivating morning show “HeadStart” today when the subject was brought up during the program’s debate segment.

Mohammed pointed out factors that contributed heavily to the Lakers poor season that is on the verge of stretching the team’s playoff drought to six straight years including injuries and lack of consistent production from young players like Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma.

“They have one of the greatest players but he (LeBron) needs help to be able to win with the team…They should sign players this offseason and they will be fine” Mohammed added.

However, Basketballghana.com Staff Writer Yaw Adjei-Mintah opposed this view citing LeBron’s presence as “toxic” rehashing the exact words used by Golden State Warriors Forward Kevin Durant when giving his views on players’ reluctance to play with LeBron.

The Basketball debate segment of HeadStart airs on Wednesday from 8:00-8:30 AM.
