Heat (white) v C4
Tema Heat’s record in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League has even out following a win this past weekend over Sakumono Titans.

Heat beat Titans 53-36 in the opening game of the last round of fixtures played on Sunday, May 5 at the Tema Community 4 Court.

The win is Heat’s second in four games this season signaling an improvement in form after losing two straight games to start the season.

Heat played against Nungua Coldstore in the 2018 Finals Series and lost 1-2 but couldn’t get a win early on in the new campaign.

2018 Most Valuable Player of the league Benjamin Omari isn’t with the team this season after moving to Spintex Knights.

Last year’s finalist blew a 9-19 first quarter lead and a 23-15 second quarter lead to lose 40-43 to Tema Community 2 in its second game in 2019.

Heat rebounded from that loss to score a 45-38 win over Teshie Vikings for its first win of this campaign before grabbing another win over league debutant Titans.
