Young Boys debut season in the GSP Basketball League has been nothing short of outstanding and the release of nominees for the Most Valuable Player Award in this season’s competition confirms the team’s impressive outing.
The team leads the standings and needs a win over Spartans to win the 2018-2019 league title. The clash comes off on Saturday, May 18 at the Sunyani Technical University (STU) Court.
Ahead of the big game, nominees for the top award have been named with Young Boys dominating the seven man list. The team has three names.
Fiifi Brew, David Ziem and Andrew Quansah made the list after dominant performances throughout the season. Brew is in the running for his second MVP Award after clinching the 2017 edition with University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).
Nana Adu and Kwame Acheampong of Desert Rabbits, Miracle Lartey of Spartans and reigning MVP winner Isaac Amponsah of Suncity Braves are also in the running for the award.
