G League Guard Mensah hosts clinic at PRESEC-Legon

American born Ghanaian Point Guard Denzel Mensah has held a basketball clinic at the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon).

The NBA Gatorade League player is in Ghana this offseason and has had an interview on the country’s biggest basketball platform “Courtside” on channel Kwese Free Sports.

The one day event took place earlier today at the high school with the all male school’s basketball team showing up to participate.

Mensah (a former starting Point Guard for Penn State-Wilkes Barre) played in the 2017-2018 season for Greensboro Swarm in the G-League and has extensive history in the American Basketball Association.

The 6 foot 3 inch Combo Guard took the young players through several drills and game- like situations on fast breaks and one one one matchups with time expiring.

Mensah is expected to return to the States on Thursday, June 6 to wrap up preparation for the NBA Summer League and described the event as a nice experience and a good opportunity to impart knowledge to young players.
