Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) Basketball Team Captain Kwabena Mensah Annin has stated he and his teammates have learnt a lot from a recently organized basketball clinic at the institution’s campus.

PRESEC’s team participated in the Denzel Mensah led Basketball clinic led by Ghanaian Point Guard Denzel Mensah who is a former NBA Gatorade League player for Greensboro Swarm.

The event took place on Wednesday, June 6 with all members of the “)dade33 Team” participating in the one day clinic.

Mensah took players through several drills and in-game situations to sharpen their skills ahead of qualification games for the next Sprite Ball Championship.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com exclusively, Mensah-Anning was happy about proceedings on the day and was adamant it will have a positive impact on the team’s performance going forward.

“It was quite educative I learnt a lot. I learnt a few new drills which will help us a lot in the future so it was quite helpful and seeing someone from Ghana make it out (there) is motivation… It will help us a lot in our chemistry, our individual skills and I think it will help us a lot in the upcoming Sprite Ball” he said.

PRESEC-Legon is a near constant presence in Ghana’s biggest High School competition-Sprite Ball- and won silver in 2014.
