Braves of Customs beat Ghana Police Service not once but twice in midweek games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Braves Female side beat Police 56-46 in the Women’s Division while Customs Male side topped its Police counterparts in the Men’s Division I via a 61-45 result.

The set of wins for Braves contingent comes on return to Ghana from a weeklong trip to Kenya where two teams played against Kenya’s National Teams.

Beating Police is the first in four attempts for Braves who lost in three games last season to Police as the latter won the division title.

The loss is the first for Police this season while Braves stay unbeaten in four games; the match was postponed twice before.

After beating Kenya 64-60 in Nairobi, Braves Male side continued its impressive form by getting past Police to stay unbeaten. Braves are the defending league champions.

In the final game of the day, Kaneshie Swanlakers beat Ada Knights 51-43 in the Men’s Division II.
