Ghana Center Amida Brimah is line to feature in his second game in the 2019 NBA Summer League tonight against a select side from Croatia.
Brimah is playing in the preseason competition for the third time in his career; he was named in the Brooklyn Nets roster for the tournament taking place in Las Vegas.
Tonight’s game is the second of four fixtures lined up for Brooklyn in Las Vegas; Nets played its first game of the 2019 edition on Friday, July 5 but lost 92-96 to Dallas Mavericks.
Brimah came off the bench and played seven minutes in the four point loss scoring his only attempted basket, grabbing an offensive rebound and delivering a chase down block in the third quarter.
Nets turned the ball over 22 times against Dallas but third year Center Jarrett Allen led the way with 19 points for Brooklyn. 2019 Draft picks Jaylen Hands and Nicolas Claxton played in the game.
Brimah is fighting for a roster spot on the team for the 2019-2020 season. Nets signed veteran DeAndre Jordan this offseason.
