Reformers of Prisons are in fine form heading to the end of the first round of the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.

After bagging a big win over Tema Youth, Reformers have clinched another big win at the expense of Ghana Police Service at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The Week 14 matchup had Prisons beat Police 77-73 to record its third win in seven games and move up to sixth place in the nine team standings.

Reformers started the season on a poor note but their performances have picked up lately with the first round of the campaign drawing to an end.

In other games, University of Ghana (UG) recorded its fifth straight win in its debut run in the ABL Men’s Division II.

The tertiary team beat veteran side Panthers 63-53 and ranks fourth in the standings; Panthers are in fifth place after losing its first game in four outings.

Junior Reformers beat Kaneshie Swanlakers 48-39 in the final game.
