Tema Youth drops to third place in ABL standings

After losing back to back games, Tema Youth Basketball Club has dropped from second place to third in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I season standings after Week 17.

The recently concluded round of games had little change in the fortunes of the Tema based club as Youth lost 59-61 to Adabraka CYO.

That loss came on the back of Tema’s 41-58 loss to Ghana Fire Service; both losses came at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.

Youth ranks third in the latest release of the nine team standings with six wins in 10 games and 16 points. Youth falls behind leaders Braves of Customs and second placed Adenta Leopards.

Braves beat Tudu Magic 65-38 while Leopards scored a 50-40 win over Kawukudi Warriors to surpass Youth via goal difference.

Failing to win respective games against Leopards and Braves mean Warriors and Magic continue to stay occupy the bottom spots in the standings. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
