Ghana Navy’s Female Basketball team has forfeited its game against Ghana National Fire Service in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division season.

The game was scheduled to be honoured earlier today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in the first of a three game fixture list.

However, Navy failed to show up for the matchup can confirm forcing officials to hand the win to Fire Service.

Ghana Fire Service earns the win via a 20-0 result and improves its record for the season to six wins and five losses in 11 appearances.

Navy on the other hand, drops to seven wins and four losses in the ongoing campaign; both teams have three games left to play in the regular season.

Despite the win, Fire stays in fourth place with 17 points tied with third ranked Navy but the latter has a better goal difference than the former.

Tudu Galaxy and Novas will play in the Men’s Division II while Braves of Customs take on Kwukudi Warriors in the Men’s Division I.
