Brimah

Ghana Center Amida Brimah scored his first basket for Indiana Pacers in the team’s 130-106 win over fellow NBA side Sacramento Kings.

The matchup was the last of back to back games involving the two teams in Mumbai, India as part of the NBA’s preseason schedule. The games were the first ever organized by the NBA in India.

Brimah started the game off the bench and registered four points, two blocks and four rebounds in 12 minutes for the Pacers. Indiana beat Kings 132-131 in overtime in the first game.

It was a better outing for Amida who signed for Indiana after impressing at this year’s NBA Summer League. In Game One, Brimah played three minutes and was scoreless.

The former University of Connecticut Captain showed off his athleticism by delivering a highlight dunk off a smooth transition involving fellow offseason recruit T.J. McConnell.

Brimah is a member of Indiana’s 20 man playing contingent set to be pruned down to 15 for the 2019-2020 NBA season which tips off on October 23.
