Ghanaian prospect Dowuona to make College decision next week

Top rated Ghanaian prospect Ebenezer Dowuona is expected to pick his College destination in the upcoming week Basketballghana.com gathers.

The young Forward has been recruited by a host of top Colleges in the United States as he plays in his senior year at The Heritage School in Atlanta.

The likes of Georgia Tech, University of South Florida, Auburn University and University of Pittsburgh have recruited Dowuona.

However, Basketballghana.com understands the athletic, lanky forward has whittled his choice to San Diego State University, South Florida, Pittsburgh and University of Denver.

Dowuona’s older brother Emmanuel is preparing for his freshman year with Purdue University after missing all of last season with an injury.

Should he pick San Diego, Dowuona will link up with Ghanaian duo Joel Mensah and Nathan Mensah who are heading to their second year with the Aztecs.

Nathan is a Power Forward/ Center while Joel Mensah was deployed at Power Forward last season. Nathan Mensah is still recovering from injuries in the offseason.
