Ghana Police Service is back to winning ways after suffering a loss to bitter rival Braves of Customs in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division.

Police was set to play University of Ghana (UG) in the aftermath of losing 38-45 to Braves but the game was cancelled due to rain.

However, in a game against Ghana Air Force on Saturday, October 19 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu, Police made its return to the winning column.

Police beat Air Force 49-41 to maintain its second rank in the division standings behind Braves who are yet to be beaten this season.

The loss is the second in a row for Air Force who lost 33-34 to Ghana Fire Service in its last appearance. On the other hand, Fire secured another close win in a row by bagging a 43-42 win over Tudu Galaxy.

While the female team missed out on a win, Air Force’s Male team beat Kaneshie Swanlakers 58-49 in the Men’s Division II.
