Cameroon’s capital, Yaounde and Rwanda’s capital, Kigali will host Basketball Africa League (BAL) Games in the Elite 16 stage with games set to commence later this month.

Yaounde will host games in Group G involving teams from the BAL’s Division West while Kigali will host games in Group H involving teams from the BAL’s Division East.

Games in Group G run from November 26 to December 1 while those in Group H run from December 17 to December 22 with the top eight teams progressing to the semifinals of the competition.

Each group will have two pools containing four teams respectively and the top two in each pool progress to the semifinals where the top three teams move to the main competition in 2020.

12 teams have qualified from the preliminary round of qualifiers that concluded this past week; Ghana’s Braves of Customs missed out on qualifying from Group B.

Four teams are set to be given wild card spots to compete in the Elite 16.
