The 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division Finals Series will commence on Wednesday, November 13 at the Prisons Basketball Court in Cantonments.
The best of a three game series will decide the team that wins this season’s League title and Braves of Customs and Ghana Police Service will challenge for the title.
Police are defending champions and are two wins away from successfully defending the title they won on the back of an excellent 2018 campaign that had them also win the CAP7 Memorial Tournament.
However, this season has been far from the best for Police who have lost twice in the league to Braves and lost 29-31 to the same team in the CAP7 Tournament.
Police beat Ghana Fire Service 68-36 this past weekend at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu after Braves beat Reformers of Prisons 65-34 a day before at the same venue.
The tie fittingly features the biggest clubs in Ghana and tips off at 19:00 GMT after Tema Youth plays Ghana Fire Service in the Men’s Division I for third place.
