The draw for the Elite 16 stage of the Basketball Africa League has been made ahead of the commencement of games in the continental championship.

Eight teams have been drawn in two groups that are further broken down into pools with each group having two pools. There are Groups G and H.

The competition wrapped up with preliminary qualifiers played all over Africa a few weeks ago with the top two teams advancing to the Elite 16 stage.

The top two teams in each pool advance to the semifinals where the top three teams advance to the main competition where they get to face teams that qualified automatically to the final stage.

Winners of national leagues in Nigeria, Tunisia (US Monastir), Egypt and Senegal gained automatic qualification to the main competition.

Group G games are to be played in Yaounde, Cameroon with Group H games taking place at the Kigali Arena in Rwanda. Group G games run from November 26-December 1 while Group H games run from December 17-22.
