Award winning sports firm Rite Sports Limited is set to roll out its latest initiative to mark the Christmas festivities Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The Africa Basketball Festival is the latest project launched by the sports event organizing outfit adding to its list of high profile events.
The one day event is expected to be a perfect mix of music, food and the most popular sport among Ghana’s youth-basketball.
SSNIT Sports Emporium popularly known as Bukom Boxing Arena will host the festival; Basketballghana.com understands there are plans to host the festival in other cities on the African continent.
The event is to be headlined by a special basketball game featuring All Star players from the Tema Community Basketball League and Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.
Players have been selected by technical handlers and representatives from the respective leagues with the official list to be released later this week. Players who participated in the just ended ABL Finals are in line to make the Accra Team.
Rite Sports is responsible for organizing basketball events including the Sprite Ball Championship and UPAC Championship.
