A dress rehearsal involving Senior High Schools for the All Star Game between Tema and Accra at the Africa Basketball Festival is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 24 at the Bukom Arena.
Four schools will compete in the dress rehearsal with two Tema based schools and two Accra based schools facing off on Christmas Eve.
Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) and St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School represent Accra while Tema Senior High School and Chemu Senior High School represent Tema.
The schools do battle before the main event at the Festival commences; a slam dunk contest and three point shooting contest are to be held also at the venue.
PRESEC and Aquinas faced off in November in the Accra Mayor’s Cup Final that had PRESEC win thanks to a 33-20 win. The school aims to end the calendar year on a good note after missing out on qualification to the 2020 Sprite Ball Championship.
Former standout at PRESEC Kontor Appiah will represent Accra in the All Star game.
