Team Tema has won the three point shooting contest and ladies free throw shooting contest at the Africa Basketball Festival.
Team won both contests taking place at the Bukom Arena ahead of Team Accra in the event staged to celebrate excellence in basketball in Ghana.
Naa Shika Moffat was the heroin for Tema as she converted from the charity stripe to beat Mavis Matey from Team Accra after emerging with the highest scores in the preliminary stages of the contest.
Jokebed Maya and Theresa Dodoo represented Tema with Carlen Adjei and Gloria Gyampoh representing Accra.
The same theme run through the Three Point Shooting Contest as Tema won the contest with young gunner Emmanuel Wolff anchoring Tema’s win.
Wolff battled Kontor Appiah from Team Accra in the final and came up on top despite Appiah dominating the first round. Boxing Legend Azumah Nelson presented awards to winners.
Tema has an impressive lead ahead of the All Star Game and Slam Dunk Competition.
