Ghana Center Nathan Mensah is likely to miss San Diego State University’s upcoming games due to a respiratory issue Basketballghana.com gathers.

The second year player missed the Aztecs recent outing Fresno State due to the respiratory issues and has not practiced since the development.

San Diego is set to play away games at Utah State and Wyoming and Mensah is line to miss both games as both settings are at high altitudes.

Guard KJ Feagin spoke about Mensah’s health in an interview with San Diego Union-Tribune and stated “I just want him to be healthy, first and foremost…basketball can come as a last resort. Health is my first concern with him”.

Nathan is averaging 6.9 points and leads the team with 6.8 rebounds per game.

In Mensah’s absence, fellow Ghanaian Joel Mensah played more minutes against Fresno and delivered.

In 16 minutes, the second year player recorded eight points, two blocks and two steals in the win. Both players stand 6 foot 10 inches.
