Kumasi Girls Senior High School Physical Education Unit Head Joyce Boatey-Agyei has been named Head Coach of Ghana’s Under 15 Football Team Basketballghana.com can confirm.

The appointment was made by Ghana’s Football Association (GFA) this week as part of an extensive shake up in the technical sector of various national football teams.

Boatey-Agyei heads a technical group that has Dr. Mabel Aboah as Team Doctor, Hannah Nunoo as Welfare Manager and John Acquah as Equipment Manager.

The versatile Boatey-Agyei has achieved a lot during her time at Kumasi Girls where she led the school to Sprite Ball Championship titles in 2016 and 2018.

Kumasi Girls recently placed third at the 2020 edition of Ghana’s biggest High School basketball competition; Kumasi Girls made its debut in the tournament in January 2016.

Several students have excelled under her watch with Rose Yeboah excelling at the 2016 Sprite Ball and the 2019 African Games in High Jump. Yeboah won gold at the competition held in Morocco.
