Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is in line to feature for Greek Giant Panathinaikos in tough EuroLeague games in the coming weeks; the Euroleague is Europe’s most prestigious continental basketball competition.

Panathinaikos is set to face Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid in its next two games with the former bagging a 96-81 win over Russian side Zenit earlier this month.

Bentil started the game against Zenit and registered four points, five rebounds and an assist in the contest; the former Providence College player is the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA.

The win kept Panathinaikos in sixth place with 14 wins and 10 losses but the upcoming foes rank higher than the multiple time Greek League winners.

Real Madrid is in second place with 19 wins and six losses and Barcelona is in third place with 18 wins and six losses; Anadolou Efes from Turkey leads the 18 team standings and has qualified to the next round.

Panathinaikos plays Barcelona tonight at 7:30 PM in Athens.
