Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was in action for Greek Giant Panathinaikos in the EuroLeague Basketball Championship against Spanish side Barcelona.

Panathinaikos lost 81-92 at the O.A.C.A Arena in Athens with Bentil starting the game at Power Forward. He registered nine points, an assist and two rebounds in 16 minutes.

Former Sacramento Kings Center Giorgios Papagiannis lead Panathinaikos with 14 points and eight rebounds and Guard Jimmer Fredette added 13 points.

After a slow start to life playing limited minutes in his debut season in the European Championship, Bentil has been consistently featured in recent games as his team continues to battle for a spot in the next round.

Bentil is in line to play another Spanish side when Panathinaikos go up against Real Madrid away from home on Monday, February 24.

Panathinaikos lie sixth in the 18 team standings with 14 wins and 11 losses; Barcelona rank third with 19 wins and six losses with Anadolou Efes from Turkey leading the way. Madrid is second with the same record as Barcelona.
