Debutants that competed in the 2019 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship are angling towards a return to the annual tournament gathers.

Kings University College and Methodist University College competed in last year’s edition of the UPAC for the first time and are keen on playing in the upcoming edition.

The 2020 UPAC commences on March 7 with games in Zone One scheduled to be played at the Pope John Senior High School in Koforidua in Ghana’s Eastern Region.

Kings and Methodist competed in Zone 6 against Accra Technical University (ATU) last year but missed out on progressing to the national stage.

Kings recorded its first ever win in the competition thanks to a 34-26 result over Methodist but both teams lost to ATU; Kings lost 13-32 to ATU.
