Basketballghana.com can confirm items in the Botsyo Sports Wear Collection are to be officially unveiled in a grand launch in the coming months.
Ghana’s leading basketball portal caught wind of this through an exclusive interview with the West Africa nation’s Wheelchair Basketball Captain Raphael Botsyo Nkegbe who headlines the sports fashion line.
The collection includes items like basketball jerseys, tracksuits and shorts, sports bags among others and the first batch of shipment is has arrived in the country in the next few days ahead of the launch.
“As I speak, part of the items have arrived in Ghana and we are planning to unveil…very soon the location will be coming out” Nkegbe said.
Basketballghana.com can also confirm a percentage of the proceeds from prospective sales will go into funding Nkegbe’s preparation for the wheelchair racing event at next year’s Olympics in Tokyo.
Nkegebe has represented Ghana at three Paralympic Games and is set to make his record setting fourth appearance at the Games in 2021.
