Basketballghana.com can confirm San Diego State University Men’s Basketball Team Head Coach Brian Dutcher has signed a three year contract extension which keeps him at the helm till 2026.
This development means Ghanaian Player Nathan Mensah is very likely to see out his College career under the watch of Dutcher.
The contract extension means Dutcher who has spent 20 seasons at the University will coach the Aztecs beyond this season when his original contract was due to end.
The veteran Coach has been the only voice third year player Mensah has known since signing up for the team after High School.
Barring a shock transfer to another University, the 6 foot 10 inch Center finishes his College career with Dutcher as the lead man on the side.
This contract development comes on the back of a 28 win and a loss record in the immediate past campaign under Dutcher where Mensah started games at Center before missing the rest of the season after 13 games due to injury.
