Ghana Forward Ben Bentil featured for Panathinaikos as the Greek side clinched a third place finish at the just ended WE’RE BACK PRESEASON Tournament.

The tournament which had a handful of EuroLeague teams compete ended with Italian side Olimpia Milano topping the bunch.

Panathinaikos beat German side Alba Berlin 102-100 in overtime for the win in a game played in Kauna, Lithuania. The home side finished in second place after beating Panathinaikos in the previous encounter.

Bentil played 19 minutes and registered four points, two rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block; Markus Foster led all players with 29 points.

The 6 foot 8 inch Forward Bentil converted two of three shot attempts; he scored a pair of field goal shots but missed his only three point shot attempt. Bentil scored on a dunk and a shot in the post.

This is Bentil’s second season at Panathinaikos but his first with Georgios Vovoras as Head Coach; last season legendary American College Coach Rick Pitino coached the team with Vovoras as an Assistant.
