Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was in action for Panathinaikos this past weekend and helped the team grab its debut win of the Greek Basketball League’s 2020-2021 season.

Panathinaikos topped Ermis Agias 69-60 in a flurry of games to commence the new season; the immediate past season was cancelled midway through the campaign due to the corona virus pandemic.

Bentil came off the bench and registered four points, four assists and five rebounds in 16 minutes of play to help the defending champions get off to a winning start in the new season.

The 6 foot 8 inch player scored one of three attempts from two point range and converted both free throw attempts; he didn’t attempt a three point shot in the game.

Bentil and Panathinaikos are in action on Thursday, October 29 in the EuroLeague against Russian side Zenit.
