Ghana Small Forward Reggie Agbeko was in inspired form on the glass as his dominant rebounding performance helped his side Ventero Villarrobledo clinch its second in the 2020-2021 season.
Ventero secured a 74-67 win over Pardinyes in the Spanish League lower division with Agbeko leading all players in rebounds with 13 grabs.
The 6 foot 7 inch player grabbed 10 defensive rebounds and added three offensive rebounds as a starter for Ventero; the game was the team’s fifth outing this season.
Agbeko played 23 minutes in the contest and registered two assists, a steal, a block and five points to add to his impressive performance.
Thanks to the 6 foot 7 inch latest production for the club he joined this offseason, Agbeko’s averages stand at 6.4 points and 7.4 rebounds for the season.
The win moves Ventero up to seventh place in the 14 team East standings in Spain; Villarobledo plays Albacete next on December 5 with Agbeko set to face his former team.
Agbeko played for Albacete before joining Ventero; he played for Horsens IC in Denmark before moving to Spain.
