Brimah

Ghana Center Amida Brimah has signed a one year deal with Indiana Pacers and is likely to feature for the team in its preseason schedule later this month. He is one of 20 players on the team.

The NBA side is to compete in a series of games prior to the start of the 2020-2021 season beginning December 11; this would be Brimah’s second stint in the preseason campaign with Indiana after suiting up for the team last year.

With the NBA returning on a shorter than expected offseason due to the COVID 19 affected season in the previous campaign, Brimah is in line to get multiple chances to play his way to the final roster selection.

Frontcourt mainstays Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis are to be rested extensively during this time with Sabonis coming off a foot injury.

Following his first preseason run with the Pacers, Brimah was assigned to Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Gatorade League before he tore his ACL and missed the entire season; he was resigned after making a full recovery.
