Agbeko (with ball) in action

Ghana Small Forward Reggie Agbeko continues to excel in his second season playing in Spain after having another impressive outing.

The 6 foot 7 inch player played 23 minutes for Ventero Villarobledo in the team’s 73-77 loss to Cornella in the Spanish LEB Silver League.

Agbeko registered 10 points, nine rebounds and an assist off the bench in the close loss for his side; he was one of four players for Ventero to score in double figures with Joaquin Portugues leading the way with 14 points.

27 year old Agbeko scored five of eight shot from the field but missed his sole three point shot attempt while attempting no free throw.

Agbeko played College basketball at St. Louis University in the US.

The loss is Villarobledo’s fifth of the season in eight games and ends the team’s two game winning streak; the team ranks 10th in Group A standings.

Agbeko was based in Cape Coast in Ghana before moving to the US where he played for St. Louis University and graduated in 2017.
